I’ll try to summarize each of my posts on this issue in one or two sentences as a reference. • I hate consensual incest because my first encounter with it wasn’t the best, and I think family relationships should be asexual (to avoid inbreeding).

• If two people with a familial relationship want to be together, fine. But I’m avoiding it for the reasons I’ve given.

• No, I’m using fan material to demonstrate a lack of canonical information.

• Did clopper-dude post foalcon? If so, then Tumblr removing the blog is justified.
• Regardless of any ethical stance on the content, lolicon/shotacon/foalcon is against Tumblr’s ToS, so having blogs removed is justified.
• MLP After Dark has gotten shut down twice now. Come on!
• It seems Ambris made an Inkbunny account for foalcon. Uh, I think I’ll stay away, thank you.
• Foalcon does give pedophiles fap material, even if creators aren’t pedophiles themselves. Plus, Tumblr doesn’t allow it, so you should be wary of it.
• Okay, fiction and real life are not equivalent, but I apply a “real-life” test for my pornography.
• An alternative philosophy: As long as there’s no negativity, and everyone’s enjoying the sex, it’s fine.
• Tumblr basically equates foalcon with child porn. That’s just how it is.
• Sorry if your blog getting shut down is inconvenient, but I keep trying to tell you.
• People hate bronies, bronies hate cloppers, and cloppers hate foalcon fans. Stop the cycle. Start by explaining your interests.
• Regardless of psychology, this stuff is illegal. Even if it involves a thousand-year-old wizard that looks like a child, it’s still probably illegal. The law (and thus my rules) care about appearances.

• Real celebrities, no. Fictional characters, maybe, but have at least some respect. Seems like a good standard.
• Wow, this has exploded. And I didn’t even give my own opinions in the first place!
• Celebrities are going to be creeped out, but there’s no point in trying to stop it. Subjectively, some people might think it’s wrong, but no one’s being harmed. Just move on.
• People can generally claim ownership of their avatars. But how much respect do they deserve? Do avatars deserve more respect than other OCs? Are people separate from their avatars?
• Intellectual property rights may apply.
• Everything is offensive. The issue isn’t that simple.
• Rule 34 implies disrespect. So “the creator doesn’t like it, so don’t do it” isn’t as clear-cut as it seems.
• A corporation isn’t a person, but creators are. What about the distinction between avatars and other OCs?
• Personality rights may serve as a foundation.
• Keep calm and consider other people’s reasoning.
• Using other people’s OCs is like using their pens.

• This movement is bringing up some serious issues. APM probably trivializes rape, but I don’t see how it’s “rape-apologetic” (blaming the victim).
• Parents have to make sure children can’t find this sort of stuff.
• Look, Pinkiepony, I get why you’re doing this, but I think it’s a bit extreme. I hope we all can discuss things civilly.
• Ask Princess Consentia: Presenting something new instead of just hating!
• (Is civility really impossible?) I don’t think people actually get off to APM, and I actually do think children should be protected from it.

• People have a right to free speech. It may be offensive and wrong, but I’m not going to try to stop anyone.
• Sure, free speech covers criticism of APM as well, but don’t force anything.
• Free speech also covers calls for APM to be removed. But I think this is wrong, too. I think it’s better to make DM a catalyst for awareness of bigger issues.
• I’ve said all I can say. No further comment (for now).
• (Oh no, it’s happening again!) I think a lot of flak wasn’t just for being against APM; I think it was for overreacting and making false accusations. There will always be “mature” content in the brony fandom.
• APM got taken down. An e-mail from Pinkiepony to Hasbro may be a part of it.
• Pinkiepony posts her e-mail.
• John Joseco is a bit like Phil Robertson. Both said things that are offensive to a lot of people, but they were still exercising free speech. Criticism is okay, but calls to have APM removed by force are not appropriate.
• The main thing Pinkiepony pointed out in her e-mail to Hasbro was that children could find it, but I couldn’t find anything on Google with SafeSearch on.
• Bronies/APM supporters shouldn’t be attacking Pinkiepony; this goes against what the fandom is supposed to be about.
• APM’s removal has taught us that we need to make sure that children can’t find mature content… Wait, you mean you weren’t already doing that?!
• Creators have done their part. Parents need to step up.
• DM won. Now how about the problem of rape in the rest of the world?
• A lot of hate on both sides is coming from teenagers being teenagers.
• Pinkiepony took down her Tumblr blog because of the harassment (and why this is a good thing).
