This really freaking speaks to my soul…
This is actually very depressing because this basically means I’ve worked for nothing… I’m too used to decisions being made before me, so i depended on things like this to keep me on track, because if I wasn’t pushed to be a nurse, I don’t know where the fuck I’d be right now…
No man, you’re misunderstanding the message. If the system has worked well for you, then awesome! You’re one of the people that the standardizing school is well tailored too.
But you’re only one person of millions, and a standard system doesn’t work well for all of them. For those of us who are the outliers, it’s brutal to be pushed into that system
The system is square shaped. And for square shaped people it works just fine! But for the triangle, circle, star, etc. shaped people who don’t fit, it’s harsh because we’re still expected to, and accused of failing.
It’s not a fair system for everyone, but again, if it works for you, good! It sounds like you’re in a good place from it.
I have a few disagreements, but here’s not the place to talk about them. I’ll leave this as it is.
