I’m about the same way. I used to think that one had to be bi to like futa. But then I was informed otherwise, and they explained it to me like this:
It’s about having a penis to identify with. I find that in porn, having a phallus in the art gives me something to relate to in the picture. While a picture can be arousing without, there is definitely something extra in a drawing with a dick somewhere. It allows me/you to pretend that’s yours there, which is always awesome for fantasizing.
This is why I actually prefer M/F porn to F/F. The lack of a penis is actually something that takes away from it. You want to be the Male who is having sex with the Female.
Futa of that style is basically a single character who is both. She’s a girl, and that makes her arousing. But she’s also enjoying the same bit of anatomy you”re familiar with. A non-futa girl masturbating is certainly arousing too; but as a guy, you don’t really know what that feels like, so there is a bit of a disconnect.
That feeling of pleasure comes from a character enjoying their own anatomy can translate to yourself. She simultaneously is the desire, as well as your avatar. I find the same dynamic can also work with a Futa girl having sex with another girl, futa or not.
But ultimately, you’re straight. So gay porn doesn’t do anything for you, because while there are plenty of dicks for you to identify with, there is nothing in it for you to desire.
It’s a very strange dynamic, I’ll admit. And it’s why at least some straight guys like futa. I can’t claim that’s why all do. And certainly there are those who are not straight who like futa for more obvious reasons. :p
